Fresh Fruit & Baked Gift Basket
The Fresh Fruit & Baked Gift Basket brings together seasonal fresh fruit and baked goods ordered from our local bakery the morning it goes out. It is hand-delivered, never couriered — which is the whole point of it.
It suits a get-well gift, a new baby, a sympathy or bereavement gesture for a local family, or any household that will have visitors and needs something to put out. Because the baking is fresh rather than packaged, it arrives the way it would if you had brought it yourself.
Available sizes
Medium — seasonal fresh fruit with five freshly baked muffins. A simple, comforting gift.
Large — seasonal fresh fruit with four bannocks, four muffins, jam, Castello brie cheese, artisan crackers, tea and chocolate truffles. Enough for a family or an office to share.
Both sizes include a personalized greeting card with your message.
Why this one is delivered by hand
Fresh baked goods have a life measured in a day or two, not the one to five days a courier journey can take. Rather than send something that would arrive stale, we keep this basket inside the area we can reach ourselves and deliver it in person.
Our hand-delivery area: Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Northeast Coquitlam, Walnut Grove, and North Surrey / Guildford.
This basket cannot be shipped by courier to any address.
Ordering and timing
Please allow at least 24 hours' notice. The baked items are ordered fresh from our bakery partner, so this basket is not available for same-day delivery. Deliveries run Monday to Friday.
During peak seasons, including Christmas, hand delivery to additional Lower Mainland areas is sometimes possible. For Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, North or West Vancouver, or any address outside the area above, contact us before ordering and we will confirm whether we can reach you on the date you need.

Freshness and substitutions
Fruit and bakery selections vary with the season and with what the bakery has that morning. Where a substitution is necessary we choose an item of equal or greater value, keeping the quality and presentation of the gift intact.
For dietary preferences, leave a note at checkout. We can usually work around gluten, dairy or nut restrictions if we know in advance.
How it is made
Basket Revolution is a family business, working in British Columbia since 2002. The people who design the baskets are the people who pack them — and, for this one, the people who carry it to the door.

Frequently asked questions
Can this basket be delivered the same day?
No. The baked goods are ordered fresh from our bakery partner, so we need at least 24 hours' notice. If you need a gift delivered today, Fruit Plus and Simply Fruit are both available for same-day hand delivery in the same area when ordered before 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
Where do you deliver this basket?
Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Northeast Coquitlam, Walnut Grove, and North Surrey including Guildford. It cannot be couriered anywhere, because fresh baking does not survive a courier journey. During Christmas we can sometimes reach further into the Lower Mainland — ask us before ordering.
What is the difference between the Medium and the Large?
The Medium is seasonal fruit with five freshly baked muffins. The Large adds four bannocks, jam, cheese, artisan crackers, tea and chocolate truffles alongside the fruit and muffins, and is the size to choose for a family or an office rather than one person.
What baked goods are included?
Muffins in the Medium; muffins and bannocks in the Large. Flavours depend on what the bakery has that morning, so we do not promise a particular kind — if there is one the recipient especially likes, tell us and we will ask.
