Shipping Fees and Policy

Hand-Delivery Available only for specific areas of Vancouver, Suburbs and Fraser Valley -- rest of Metro Vancouver, the province and Canada by courier

The delivery is taking place only at the entrance of the buildings, in open air and in a contactless manner.

Our Team Members are not entering the business and apartment buildings for delivery and no exceptions are made.  The Downtown deliveries are shipped by courier, and the cannot contain perishable items (flowers, baked goods or fruits).



In these challenging times, when we battle worldwide the Covid-19 virus, we are working hard to keep us and our clients safe and healthy. 

Our Team is closely  following the sanitation and social distancing rules set-up by the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control, and are supported and able to self-isolate at the first sign of any flu symptoms.

At the same time, we are working hard to connect families around the world with their loved ones, their co-workers or business partners in the Vancouver area,  with hand-delivered care packages including essentials, fresh fruits, baked goods and gourmet snacks.

We generally hand-deliver our gifts in the Greater Vancouver area, with the exception of the busy times, at Valentine, Easter, Mother's and Father's Day and Christmas, when we use other couriers like Canada Post, FedEx or independent contractors, with the following mentions:

1. We will consider the apartment building deliveries case by case - The delivery is taking place only at the entrance of the building, in open air and in a contactless manner.

Our team members are not entering the buildings and no exceptions are made.  Please check with the members of your family, friends and business partners that this is possible, as we are not able to leave the gifts inside the buildings at this point in time.

Where we consider that the physical distancing is difficult to achieve, or the recipient is not available to come at the entrance of the building, in short, the delivery poses risks for our employees and couriers, we reserve the right to refuse the order. 

2. Deliveries to house and townhouse addresses will continue respecting a 6 feet physical distance, and in a contact less manner (leaving the gift at the door, on the porch etc).

3. We do not deliver to hospitals, senior care centers, and universities at this point in time, for specific questions, please email us:

For the hand-deliveries, executed by our team, please expect the delivery to take place in the afternoon, anytime between 12:00-8:00 pm for residential, and 12:00-5:00 pm for business addresses.  At this point we are not able to offer a set in stone time of delivery, but we can tell you that we make every effort to advise your recipients of the gift delivery and coordinate with their schedules as much as possible.

5. We do not have any control on the time of courier deliveries, they can deliver anytime between 8:00-6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Also, Canada Post on-time guarantee remains suspended for all services due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 situation.

Our office accommodate your requests for specific delivery dates, you can place the order now and have it delivered later - just mention your preferred date of delivery at the checkout and choose the correspondent shipping service.

 During non-peak seasons,  you may expect your gift order to be shipped within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

During the busy season, like Christmas, Mother's or Father's Day etc., orders are processed within 1-3 business days *plus* transit time, not including the date your order was placed.  We guarantee our 1-3 business day production lead time mentioned above but actual transit times may be subject to occasional COVID-related delays and therefore cannot be guaranteed.


For gift orders of a time-sensitive nature such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, funerals or special occasions we highly recommend placing the order early and choosing correctly the priority service desired.

As you may know, Vancouver has the highest prices at the pump in Canada!

We are working hard to find you the best combination of delivery options and pricing, offering primarily hand-delivery options, combined with FedEx and Canada Post courier delivery. 

For a smooth delivery here are a few ideas to consider:

For the residential deliveries, kindly provide as many details as possible - is there a concierge on site? what is the buzzer number?  a cell number is instrumental to contact your recipient and agree on the estimated time of delivery so please leave us the phone number of your recipient, and your phone number (specify if you do not want us to contact the recipient - but this option would not work for residential addresses, where we need to contact them in advance).

Delivery time and cost varies depending on the weight/size of the package and the destination, and it will be calculated at checkout with the Canada Post Rates.

*) End of the day is 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time for business addresses and 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time for residential addresses.  You will get an email with updates on the status of the order and the approximate time of delivery as soon as the delivery was made or at the end of the business day.



Fragile and perishable items as baked goods and flowers are delivered only in Vancouver and Lower Mainland, as they cannot be shipped by courier to the Vancouver Island, rest of BC and Canada.

If the recipient is not available to receive the delivery, our courier will leave a call tag advising that an attempt was made. The driver may also release the gift in a safe drop area if he deems the area safe such as a backyard or doorway if accessible.

If the area is not deemed safe, then the carrier will make two more delivery attempts. If unsuccessful at this point, the gift parcel will be returned to our facility and additional return shipping fees will apply.

We update periodically the status of your shipped orders, so please check the status of your order online or email us at for any updates on the deliveries.

If your recipient is located within our personal delivery area of Vancouver, North and West Vancouver, Burnaby, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Mission, Langley, Surrey, New Westminster, Delta and Richmond, we can arrange a Saturday delivery.


As per the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Act, Basket Revolution Gifts may offer customers the option to add liquor to their gift baskets, hampers and boxes.  By placing your request for liquor to be added to your gift order, you certify under penalty of law that you and the intended recipients are at least 19 years old. 

Also, to ensure the alcohol gift delivery please choose at the checkout the adult signature option, when choosing the shipping method.

When proof of age is required, the customer must show two pieces of identification at the time of delivery. One of those pieces must be a government-issued identification card such as a driver's license with photo, name and birth date. The other piece must contain the person's name along with a signature or picture.
As the company is not permitted to store any alcohol on the premises, the company will purchase liquor on your behalf. Liquor prices will be charged at liquor store pricing plus a $10.00 pick up fee.

Maple Ridge Studio - PICK - UP OPTION:

The pick-up option is cancelled until the situation of Covid-19 is normalized. 

When Covid-19 is under control, we can arrange pick-up, only on appointment basis at our studio location, in downtown Maple Ridge, 22416 Dewdney Trunk Road.  Please place the order online and mention the preferred pick up date - we will confirm the availability, time and date of the pick -up.
