Same-day delivery, where we can drive there and back

Same-day gift basket delivery is available in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows for orders placed before 11:00 AM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday. We hand-deliver these ourselves, which is why the service covers the two communities closest to our studio rather than the whole region.

Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered the next business day, or on a future date you choose.

Four more communities, delivered by hand on a chosen date

Port Coquitlam, Northeast Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey including Guildford also receive hand delivery, Monday to Friday, on the date you select when you order. Same-day is not offered in these areas — the drive is long enough that we would rather schedule it properly than promise an afternoon we cannot guarantee.

Everywhere else in British Columbia and across Canada, gifts travel by courier with tracking. Rates and transit times for every area are on our delivery page.

How it works

Choose your delivery date on the product page, then place your order before 11:00 AM Pacific Time on a weekday. We review it, confirm the basket can be prepared today, and let you know if anything needs adjusting. You will receive an email confirmation once the delivery is complete.

Same-day depends on product availability and the day's route. If we cannot complete it today, we will contact you as soon as we review your order and either deliver on the next business day or refund the same-day fee — your choice.

Gifts containing beer or wine

Baskets that include beer or wine need an adult aged nineteen or over to sign at the door, so same-day works best when you know someone will be home. If you are not certain, add a note with your order and we will call ahead to agree a time. Gifts containing liquor are delivered within British Columbia only, and are never left unattended.

Time-sensitive gifts

During Christmas and other peak periods, preparation may take up to three additional business days depending on order volume. For anything that cannot move — a funeral, a hospital stay, a date already fixed — email us before you order and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

How late can I order for same-day delivery?

Before 11:00 AM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after the cutoff, or on a weekend or statutory holiday, are prepared for the next business day. Earlier is always safer, because same-day depends on the day's route.

Which areas get same-day delivery?

Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Port Coquitlam, Northeast Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey receive hand delivery on a scheduled date rather than same-day, and everywhere else is served by courier.

How much does same-day delivery cost?

Hand delivery is charged by area, and the rate for your address is shown at checkout. All areas and rates are listed on our delivery page.

Do you offer same-day delivery in Vancouver or Burnaby?

No. Vancouver, Burnaby and the rest of Metro Vancouver are served by courier — dispatched the same business day if you order before 11:00 AM Pacific Time, and delivered within the courier's transit time for that address. The studio is in Maple Ridge, at the eastern edge of the region, which is why the hand-delivery area is shaped the way it is.

Can you deliver on a Saturday or Sunday?

No. The studio works Monday to Friday, and both hand delivery and courier dispatch follow those days. For a weekend occasion, order early in the week.

Do you ever deliver by hand outside these communities?

Occasionally, at Christmas and other peak periods, when several gifts are going to the same area. It depends on the route and the season, so please write to us before ordering rather than at checkout.
