The Irish Beer Gift Basket is built around five Irish beers - stout and cream ale- with savoury and sweet snacks, arranged in an oval tin tub. It is made to order in our British Columbia studio and delivered across the province.

It suits a birthday, a St Patrick's gathering, or a Sunday when a game is on. Stout drinkers tend to be particular about it, which is what makes this an easy gift for someone who has said more than once that they only drink the one thing.

How it is made

Basket Revolution is a family business, working in British Columbia since 2002. The people who design the baskets are the people who pack them. Nothing is pre-assembled and nothing is outsourced — each basket is put together after the order arrives, and inside our hand-delivery area it is carried to the door by the same hands that packed it.

The chips come from HardBite and the savoury nuts from Laid Back Snacks, both local makers.

Delivery, timing and the 19+ rule

Orders placed before 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, are prepared and dispatched the same day. Same-day hand delivery is available in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, east Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey including Guildford, for a flat $20, with limited slots each day. Elsewhere in British Columbia the basket travels by courier, usually within one to two business days.

Gifts containing alcohol are delivered within British Columbia only. An adult aged 19 or over must receive the basket and photo identification may be requested at the door. We call ahead wherever possible to agree a time — if the recipient is hard to reach, add a note at checkout and we will plan around it. Full terms are on our delivery and shipping page.

Allergies, vegan swaps and substitutions

*For dietary or allergy concerns, please ask for substitutions in the notes when placing your order. We have vegan options to replace the meat, and other salty snacks to replace the items containing nuts.

Every substitution is made by hand before the basket is wrapped, at no extra cost. If you are ordering for someone whose diet you are unsure about, please email or call us.

Which Irish beers are included?

Five Irish beers, a mix of dry stout and cream ale. If the recipient prefers one over the other, tell us in the order notes and we will weight the selection accordingly.

Can an Irish beer gift basket be delivered the same day?

Same-day hand delivery covers Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, east Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey including Guildford, for orders placed before 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time on a weekday, at a flat $20. Vancouver, Burnaby and the rest of Metro Vancouver are dispatched the same day and delivered by courier, usually the next business day.

Can this basket be sent outside British Columbia?

Not with the beer included, as gifts containing alcohol are delivered within British Columbia only. For a recipient elsewhere in Canada we can build a similar basket around the snacks with a non-alcoholic alternative — leave a note at checkout and we will confirm before dispatch.

Does someone have to be home to receive it?

Yes. An adult aged 19 or over must receive any basket containing alcohol, and photo identification may be requested at the door. Alcohol is never left unattended or safe-dropped. We contact the recipient in advance where we can to arrange a convenient time.

Can you replace the meat or the nuts?

Yes, at no extra charge. Add a note when you place the order and we will swap the salami or Power Sticks for a vegan alternative, and replace any nut-containing items with other savoury snacks. Substitutions are made by hand before the basket is wrapped.
