BC Craft Beer - Gift Basket Vancouver

The BC Craft Beer Gift Basket is a hand-packed beer gift basket built around five local British Columbia craft beers and a selection of savoury and sweet snacks, arranged in an oval tin tub. It is made to order in our British Columbia studio and delivered across the province.

It suits a birthday, Father's Day or a retirement send-off, and it is a straightforward choice for a client or colleague who would rather have something to open than a card. It reads as well beside a barbecue in June as it does in front of a hockey game in December.

Each basket contains five local BC craft beers in an assortment of bottles and cans, with savoury and sweet accompaniments chosen to drink well alongside them:

How it is made

Basket Revolution is a family business, working in British Columbia since 2002. The people who design the baskets are the people who pack them. Nothing is pre-assembled and nothing is outsourced — each basket is put together after the order arrives, and inside our hand-delivery area it is carried to the door by the same hands that packed it.

The beer is brewed in British Columbia and chosen here. The chips come from HardBite and the savoury nuts from Laid Back Snacks, both local makers.

Delivery, timing and the 19+ rule

Same-day hand delivery is available in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, east Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey, including Guildford, for orders placed before 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, for a flat $20. Same-day slots are limited each day. Elsewhere in British Columbia the basket travels by courier, usually within one to two business days.

Gifts containing alcohol are delivered within British Columbia only. Because this basket contains beer, an adult aged 19 or over must receive it and photo ID may be requested at the door. We call ahead wherever possible to agree a time that works — if the recipient is hard to reach, add a note at checkout and we will plan around it. Full terms are on our delivery and shipping page.

Allergies, vegan swaps and substitutions

*For dietary or allergy concerns, please ask for substitutions in the notes when placing your order. We have vegan options to replace the meat, and other salty snacks to replace the items containing nuts.

Every substitution is made by hand before the basket is wrapped, at no extra cost. If you are ordering for someone whose diet you are unsure about, please email or call us.

Which BC craft beers are included in the basket?

The basket contains five craft beers from British Columbia breweries, in a mix of bottles and cans. The line-up rotates through the year as breweries release seasonal batches, so we choose the best available at the time of packing. Email us before ordering if you would like to know the current selection, or to request a style you know the recipient enjoys.

Can a craft beer gift basket be delivered the same day?

Same-day hand delivery is available in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, east Coquitlam, Walnut Grove and North Surrey, including Guildford, for orders placed before 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, at a flat $20. Vancouver, Burnaby and the rest of Metro Vancouver are dispatched the same day and delivered by courier, usually the next business day. Same-day slots are limited, so earlier is safer.

Can this basket be sent outside British Columbia?

Not with the beer included, as gifts containing alcohol are delivered within British Columbia only. For a recipient elsewhere in Canada we can build a similar basket around the snacks with a non-alcoholic alternative in place of the beer — leave a note at checkout and we will confirm before dispatch.

Does someone have to be home to receive a basket containing alcohol?

Yes. An adult aged 19 or over must receive any basket containing alcohol, and photo ID may be requested at the door. We contact the recipient in advance where we can to arrange a convenient time, and you can add delivery instructions in the order notes at checkout.

Can you replace the meat or the nuts in this basket?

Yes, at no extra charge. Add a note when you place the order and we will swap the salami or Power Sticks for a vegan alternative, and replace any nut-containing items with other savoury snacks. Substitutions are made by hand before the basket is wrapped.

Is this basket a good corporate or client gift?

Yes. It works well as a client thank-you, an employee recognition gift or an end-of-project celebration. For orders going to several addresses we can work from a single spreadsheet and bill on one invoice, so you place one order rather than twenty.
