A milestone birthday gift — a gift basket delivered by hand with a large number balloon, inflated on the day. Choose the number and we build around it.
This is the gift for a birthday that gets mentioned before and after: a thirtieth, a fortieth, a fiftieth, a sixtieth. The balloon arrives at the door with the basket, which is the part people photograph.
How it works
If you would like something larger or different from what is shown, tell us your budget and we will build to it. Tell us the number and the sort of gift that suits the person — beer, wine, chocolate, fruit, or something built to a brief. We pair a basket from our range with a balloon in that number and deliver both together.
The photograph on this page shows one we made: a craft beer box with a large number balloon for a fortieth. Yours will be built around whatever suits the recipient — this is a model of what is possible rather than a fixed set of contents.
Why it is delivered by hand
An inflated balloon cannot travel by courier. Rather than send something that would arrive flat, we keep this gift inside the area we can reach ourselves and carry it to the door.
Our hand-delivery area: Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Northeast Coquitlam, Walnut Grove, and North Surrey including Guildford.
For a birthday outside that area, any basket in our range travels by courier — just without the balloon. Tell us and we will suggest something that arrives well.
Ordering and timing
Please give us a day's notice where you can, so the balloon is inflated close to the delivery time rather than the night before. Deliveries run Monday to Friday. If the birthday falls on a weekend, order for the Friday and tell us — we will note it on the card.
If the basket contains beer or wine, an adult aged 19 or over must sign at the door, and those gifts are delivered within British Columbia only.

Frequently asked questions
Which numbers can you do?
Any number, though thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth and sixtieth are the ones we are asked for most. Tell us the age in the order notes and we will source the balloon. For an unusual number, give us a little more notice.
Can the balloon be sent outside your delivery area?
No. An inflated balloon does not survive a courier journey, so this gift is hand-delivered only. For a recipient elsewhere we can send any basket in our range by courier and include a birthday card instead.
What goes in the basket?
Whatever suits the person. The photograph shows a craft beer gift, but the basket can be built around wine, chocolate, fruit, savoury snacks, or a mix. Tell us what they like and roughly what you would like to spend, and we will suggest something.
How long will the balloon last?
We inflate it as close to delivery as we can. A foil balloon generally holds its shape for a day or two indoors, away from heat and direct sun.
Can you deliver on the birthday itself?
Usually, if we know in advance. Give us a day's notice and tell us the date; we will schedule it. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, so for a weekend birthday we suggest the Friday.
